Summer Bishil (born June 15 15, 1985) is an American actress who is best famous for her character Margo on The Magicians, a Syfy fantasy-drama series that aired between 2015 and present. Her role in the Alan Ball film Towelhead featured her as Jasira Maoun, a Lebanese American teen who has to confront a variety of personal concerns in relation with the U.S. invaders in Iraq. In 2007 Variety listed her as one of the 10 actors-to-watch. She was also a key role in 2009's crime drama Crossing Over. For this the role, she was nominated in the Independent Spirit Award under the category of Best Female Leading. She also acted as co-lead in films such as Mooz-lum The Last Airbender Pop Star, Under the Silver Lake, and in several TV guest role.
